A love of stories, sport and belonging.
AllSportsNZ was born from a passion for literature and the vibrant sport culture of Aotearoa. It creates engaging children’s books that celebrate sport, encourage participation and share inspiring stories with a uniquely New Zealand flavour.
Lisa’s stories celebrate the landscapes of Aotearoa New Zealand, weaving together adventure, sport, courage, curiosity, resilience and belonging.

Lisa believes every child can find a sport or activity that helps them feel capable, connected and proud of who they are.
Sport and the outdoors
Lisa grew up enjoying athletics, martial arts, rugby, triathlon and the outdoors. She has coached, taught and developed programmes that encourage active, healthy and confident families.
Adventures beyond the page
When she is not writing, Lisa enjoys exploring New Zealand beaches, forests and walking trails, spending time with family and dreaming up new adventures for young readers.
